Cultivating Leadership

We are a team of 85 humans who care deeply about the kind of leadership we need for a future that works for all. We were formed in Aotearoa New Zealand by four people 12 years ago, but now operate all over the world. We work with some of the world's largest organisations through to small not for profits.

Specifically, we work with organisations to support leaders manage the complexity of today's world. Sometimes this looks like delivering immersive leadership development programmes, sometimes it looks like Executive coaching, and sometimes it looks like working alongside Executive Teams to support their growth, development and complexity skillset.

In 2022 the Cultivating Leadership founders created the Tilt Foundation, with the aim of distributing the accumulated and future profits of Cultivating Leadership. We are committed to contributing the majority of profits (50%+) to the foundation who in turn distribute money using a trust based philanthropy approach.

We bring our whole selves to our work and we ask our clients to do the same — we are all humans together for all of the complexity that entails. We admire the human condition and genuinely like people and we treat our clients and one another with compassion, generosity, laughter and lightness. We also walk the talk as a deliberately developmental, complexity-based organisation.
